Faces of Walker

Why is Walker the place to be? Hear all that this community has to offer through the voices of those who have chosen to make it their home.

What brought me here: I came here from East Baton Rouge Parish because my husband and I found some acreage we realy liked.

My favorite spot in Walker: That would have to be Walker High School. Both of my daughters graduated from WHS and it brings back a lot of fun memories when I visit the school or even pass it by.

Why I love Walker: The things I love most about Walker are the people here and the fact that Walker is growing, but still small enough to make me feel like I am away from the hustle and bustle of a huge city. It gives me the feeling of having the 'best of both worlds' and I am proud to say I am from Walker wherever I go.
