All fines can be paid with cash, money order or credit/debit card as follows:

1.      In person with cash, money order or credit/debit cards.  

2.       Mail money order to the following address

Municipal Court is held on the first and third Tuesdays of each month in the courtroom in the Walker Municipal Building, 13600 Aydell Lane, Walker, Louisiana.

Warrants

All warrants should be confirmed by calling the Clerk of Court's office at 225.664.7692.

If you would like an extension for payment of your fine, you must appear on your assigned court date and ask the judge for payment arrangements.

HOW TO KEEP YOUR MOVING VIOLATION OFF OF YOUR DRIVING RECORD

Submitting the 894 Form is a method to keep your moving violation from affecting your driving record/insurance.   If you desire to use your 894 deferrment for this ticket you will need to print this form, sign and mail/fax to this office.

Courtroom rules

» Absolutely no cellular phones or pagers are allowed.

» No children under the age of 10 are allowed in the courtroom during court.

» Security cameras are in use.

» When you enter the building, you are subject to being searched.

» No person entering or occupying the property shall carry or possess firearms, other dangerous or deadly weapons, explosives or items intended to be used to fabricate an explosive or incendiary device, either openly or concealed, except for official and authorized purposes. Persons violating this rule will be prosecuted.

» Appropriate attire is required in the courtroom. The dress code prohibits shorts, flip-flops, tank tops or hats. You will be escorted out if you enter and are not dressed appropriately.
