Mr. Larry Williams began his career with the City of Walker in 1992. He is a board member of the Louisiana Gas Association and serves as an alternate for the Louisiana Municipal Gas Association. He was born in Independence and was raised in Slaughter. After graduating from Clinton High School in 1978, he joined the Marine Corps Reserve. Prior to joining the City of Walker, he worked for 13 years with Gulf States Utilities as a corrosion technician and a construction supervisor. He and his wife Bertha have seven children and 13 grandchildren. He attends the Church of God in Baton Rouge, where he serves as a local board member, choir member and men's director.
