Meetings are scheduled as needed for approval of applications and for regulation of alcohol permits at the Walker Municipal Building, 10136 Florida Blvd.
A liquor license is required for any business or function which allows customers, members, guests, visitors or any other persons to purchase, possess or consume liquor on the premises of the place of business or for consumption off premises. The Walker Alcohol Control Board grants and regulates various types of alcohol licenses for restaurants; grocery, convenience and package stores; hotels and other establishments that sell alcohol for consumption on premises.
For your convenience, the process for obtaining the appropriate license is detailed online. Applicants can download and complete all the necessary forms online, but all application materials must be printed and submitted to the City of Walker Alcohol Beverage Control Board, along with the designated fees.

ALL RESTAURANTS AND OTHER ESTABLISHMENTS WITH A LICENSE TO SELL ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES MUST RENEW THEIR PERMITS AS WELL AS ALL EMPLOYEE CARDS/LICENSES ANNUALLY NO LATER THAN DECEMBER 31. REQUIREMENTS FOR ALCOHOL CARD-LICENSE FOR EMPLOYEES
1. Completed and Notarized APPLICATION for all employees; renewals must complete and sign. Notarized if it is a new application only.
2. Application Fee of $25.00 for all new applicants; renewals are no charge. Payments can be made in person by check, cash or online by credit card here.
3. Background check/criminal history from Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office.
